A STILL WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON THURSDAY;

THURSDAY 17th / NOVEMBER 2016.

No lie in for the ‘wicked’ this morning as Rose called early to collect ‘ Scruffy’ after his sleep over, he’s a joy to have with us in ‘ Doggy World Heaven’ – he’s such a happy boy, a real character, he’s back with us for another sleep over at the start of December.

We treated ourselves to ‘ Smoked Bacon & Sausage Butties’ for breakfast with mugs if steaming tea, we then sorted the shopping list for tomorrow morning, I’m out early on my travels, I’m having to go back to our Bank as the new Savings Account, has still not appeared ‘ Online’ – the parking down in Sabinillas is still chaos due to the closure of the main square parking, for redevelopment.

This morning has started a little overcast & cloudy, as forecast, the sun is now breaking through and by lunchtime it due to be clear and sunny, the overall temperatures are due to drop slowly over the weekend as the Atlantic front takes effect, for the first time in over 9 months it will be below 20 degs, just!

See below a picture taken yesterday before the storms hit North Wales of the ‘Bay of Colwyn’ with the ‘Tan-Y- Lan’ estate at the bottom of the photo and the end of Tim & Thea’s road just above!

And the promenade this morning after the storm!

We are getting ready later as Brenda’s appointment with the ‘ Kidney Consultant’ is not until 6-30pm, yesterday evening the hospital rang to make another appointment next Tuesday morning for another X-Ray, this time with nothing to eat, possibly meaning a ‘ Barium X-Ray’ - we are concerned and are going to check at the hospital this afternoon and also with the Consultant, watch this space.

After the Hospital visit we are going out for supper, on the way home, we are calling into ‘ La Sala’ in Puerto Banus, the Celebrity Restaurant,  its’ the ‘ in place’ with live music, I have a ‘ Club Card’ for discounts and promotions, the other night they rang with an offer but we couldn’t make it, it has a large  international menu with fine wines, by the glass, if required, they offer ‘ valet ‘ parking which makes it a lot easy to call in, we are looking forward to the ‘ Chef & Staff’s night off!

The next time we are planning to be out is next weekend for our 45th Wedding Anniversary celebrations, our friend from Torquay, Gillian, is staying with us for a couple of days, we are going to our favourite restaurant ‘ Kokomo’ for their excellent Sunday Roast Lunch. Then in December it’s the ‘ Staff’s’ Xmas party to be arranged, watch this space. Next week we are going to Iceland’ in Sotogrande to stock up with all the Xmas essentials, I’m also ordering our ‘Turkey’ from the English Butchers in Puerto Duquesa & the ‘Rib of Beef’ from our local butcher.

Yesterday evening we settled down after supper to watch the next episode of ‘ The Missing’ with HUGE questions and theories still to answer, the French Detective is loosing his mind, the Butcher’s wife made an unbelievable recovery after being attacked, it turned out at the end that she is involved in the Army cover up, a missing camera turned up, nasty German right wing thugs are on the rampage, the main ‘ DNA’ test was faked, which girl is dead and who is alive, the murderer from last week is even more creepy, two locked rooms in his house, we can’t wait for the next two episodes!

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
