A CRISP, CLEAR & DRY SUNNY MANILVA ON MONDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEK.

MONDAY 28th/ NOVEMBER 2016.

I was up first this morning to see ‘ Reina’ back with us for the day, she’s here for her normal five days this week, I then prepared the ‘ Continental Breakfast’ table ready for our guest, Fresh Orange Juice, Weetabix, Yoghurts, Fresh Fruit, Cold sliced Ham & Cheese, Brown & White Toast  with a selection of Jams & Marmalade and Tea or Coffee. Gillian has slept well, up in the guest penthouse suite, she’s popping down to Sabinillas on the bus, later, to see some old friends.

This evening she’s taking us for supper to ‘ Resturante La Choza’- our 45th Wedding Anniversary’ celebration, for tomorrow, as we are out & about during the day and evening on Tuesday, first I’m taking Brenda down to the surgery for her ‘ ECG’ - taking Gillian across to Estepona to stay with some more friends, going to my Barbers, shopping and then in the evening we have our appointments with our ‘Chiropodist’ down at the surgery! Watch this space.

Overnight the rains have stopped, for now, this morning its crisp & dry, the sun is due to break through later, the week ahead is looking settled with sunshine with only the threat of the wet stuff, over this coming weekend it’s more of the same before it picks up again the following week when its due to reach the heady heights of 23 degs, this week it’s hovering on the 20 degs mark! Watch this space.

See below this mornings sunrise over the beach down in Sabinillas.

PS; The road up to Ronda is closed!

Our ‘ Pensions’ cycle has started this morning, the ‘ Euro’ has picked up a little after last week’s ‘ Budget’ – fingers crossed for the next two weeks, we are down, overall, by nearly 35%!

We have brought our ‘ Happy Hour’ forward this evening, we are going to have ‘ Kir Royals’ – made with Cava, to toast our wedding anniversary.

PS; The ' Xmas Tree' has just appeared in the ' Plaza de la Vendimia' - for the first time!

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
