A ' CRISP' & SUNNY MANILVA ON SUNDAY.

SUNDAY 15th/ DECEMBER 2019.

We had a nice, long, lie in this morning, the last one for a while as we are going to be very busy in ‘ Doggy World Heaven’ over the next few weeks.

After freshening up Brenda suggested for my breakfast a little ‘treat’ of a ‘Toasted Campo Fried Egg (2) Butty’! – two ‘ Campo’ Fried Eggs cooked in Virgin Olive Oil, then seasoned with Salt & White Pepper, between toasted, buttered slices on ‘Farmhouse’  White Bread, with mugs of hot/strong ‘PG’ Tips Tea, it was a special ‘bribe’ as we were then putting up the ‘Xmas Tree’ - lights and decorations!

This morning the breeze has dropped and the sun broke through earlier, the sky is clear & blue, so by lunchtime it’s due to reach 18 degs+ - staying sunny and warm, sadly next week, from tomorrow, when the next very cold, wet & windy ‘ Atlantic’ front hits us, we are in for a long week of the ‘ Wet-Stuff’ – getting windier as the week goes on, by Friday up to ‘Gale-Force’ – with moderate to heavy rain each day, hovering in the low/mid ‘ teens’ – 11/14 degs only, overnight down to 8/9 degs!

The following ‘Xmas Week’ is now forecast to be dry & settled to start but still with the threat of ‘ RAIN’ over ‘Christmas Day & Boxing Day’!!  Watch this space.

While I have been typing/posting today’s Blog, as usual, I have been listening to the ‘ Pete Black Retro Roadshow – Xmas Songs ‘ on “ Castle Radio FM 89.2 & Online on the WWW”  - as the ‘ Film Quiz’ came on, it was “ Meet Me in St Louis “ with Judy Garland, from 1944! So we are in the monthly draw, again! Watch this space.

For our supper this evening we are having for a change ‘  Grilled Medallions of Pork Fillet’ accompanied with a sauceboat of a ‘Creamy Green Peppercorn’ sauce, served with Glazed Baby Carrot Batons and Whole Baby ‘ French’ Green Beans, with ‘ Breton’ style Potatoes – diced, boiled Potatoes tossed in foaming Parsley Butter with diced Red, Yellow & Green Peppers with chopped Onion & Shallots.

We are taking things easy, later, all the ‘Xmas’ decorations etc have been put up, yesterday on two of the outside ‘ Juliet’ balconies Brenda put out the ‘ Santa Claus’s’ climbing into our house!

PS; See below three more ‘Xmas’ presents requests for ‘ Santa Claus ‘ this year, either a Aston ( Silver) Martin, a McLaren ( Blue) or a Porsche ( Red ) “ THANKS “ !!!

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
