A WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY;

TUESDAY 23^rd/ JUNE 2015.

I was up early this morning to see ‘Reina’ back for the day, the workmen arrived on time and have commenced to knock down the second floor scaffolding & boards, making as much noise as possible, it sounds like they are coming through our walls!

Great news - 'Scruffy' is back on Friday for a surprise sleep over!

We are staying on our usual breakfast of Weetibix, fresh fruit (Nectarines) & toast for now, we are having a light snack for lunch and for tonight’s super its ‘Poached Breast of Chicken’ resting on a pool of Chicken & Mushroom sauce with some finely sliced Green Beans and a small Baked Potato. “D” Day 2!

It’s an at home day today after all the celebrations over the last few days, the ‘Birthday Girl’ has had a ‘Helluva’ time, wining, dining and partying, so now its time for her to settle down and re-charge her batteries, for now!

The weather forecast for the week ahead is looking good down here on the ‘Costa Del Sol’ with more of the hot sunshine and clear blue skies, the rest of Spain is under another Atlantic front with storms & rain, over the coming weekend its staying fine.

Josie has settled back into her routine in her roof top apartment as she has just put her washing out! We can just see it, for now, before they start on the next floor and roof! We are all looking forward to going along the coast road tomorrow morning to Sotogrande to go to the ‘KE Bar for a light Tapas lunch; Josie is also on a   light/healthy food regime at the moment also.

We will be back up on the roof terrace later this afternoon for our ‘Happy Hour’ cocktails and will be playing Brenda’s new 3x track CD of the classic music of the “Sixties” which Den has sent her, every song on the CD are sing-along including ‘Brown Eyed Girl’ by Van Morrison!

After supper we will catch up with all the news, sport and weather details before settling down to watch something after channel hopping.
