THURSDAY 18th/
JUNE 2015.
Just a
little lie in this morning as ‘Reina’ was not due until 10-00am but the workmen
still arrive at 8-00am and try to get us up with their knocking & shouting,
we will not be beaten, we turned over and got up when we wanted too!
After
breakfast I shot along to the local bank in Calle Mar for some cash as Brenda
is going down on the bus at lunchtime to Sabinillas as she has her appointment
at the hairdressers at 1-00pm for the full works; she has her card with her and
is going into the ‘Boutique’ to have a look for something to wear! She is
catching a taxi back up as there are no buses in the afternoon.
So it’s at
home day for me looking after little princess ‘Reina’- which is no problem as
she just sleeps on her duvet, that’s until ‘Chispa’ comes bounding in to play!
The sun was
out first thing this morning and by lunchtime it will be a rather pleasant
26/27degs down here on the coast in the ‘Costa Del Sol’ – inland up in Cordoba,
Granada, Jaen & Sevilla its 10degs hotter as usual, in some parts of
Andalusia its due to reach 40degs today, the whole of Spain is now dry and
sunny for the rest of the week and over the weekend its getting hotter!
We are
planning to go to the ‘Manilva School of Music’ end of term grand concert
tomorrow evening after supper but we have decided that we are not going down to
the Fire Festival ‘San Juan’ on the beach in Sabinillas next Tuesday as we are
out the following day for lunch with Josie, as a late belated birthday treat,
to the ‘KE’ Bar in Sotogrande.
This
evening we are having grilled ‘Chicken Wings’ for our supper with salad & a
Baked Potato as the dreaded word ‘Diet’ is starting to raise its ugly head
after yesterdays shopping! I think that there is a new regime on the horizon
for a more healthy eating style along with the new exercise bicycle coming into
use!! Watch this space.
We will be
out on the roof terrace a little later for our ‘Happy Hour’ after the workmen
finish as we are determined to use it as much as possible before we are
enveloped by the new building on two sides!
After
supper we will catch up with all the news, sport & weather forecast’s before settling down to find something to
watch.
