No lie in
this morning as we had to be up to catch the gas bottle delivery man first
thing; ‘Reina’ has slept inside her duvet for most of the night, she is not a
problem during the night, she’s been out for her first walk of the day and is
eating as normal, she is being picked up late this evening and will be back
with us on Tuesday & Thursday as usual.
This
morning the sun is out and the sky is clear, overnight it got a little windy,
it’s bringing the rain tomorrow for the day but not as bad as forecast, the
temperature today is going to be up to 25degs by the afternoon.
We had
Campo Fried Egg & crispy Smoked Bacon with lots of toast and mugs of
steaming tea for breakfast to set us up for the day ahead! Well that’s my excuse!
I then made a fresh batch of my famous and now requested ( Mano & Anna) “
Ensaldilla Rusa” using diced cooked New Potatoes, chopped Parsley, Garden Peas,
chopped Baby Carrots, diced Cooked Red Pimento, crushed Tuna in oil and chopped
hard boiled Campo Eggs – all seasoned and then tossed in Mayonnaise – texture
is the secret to my recipe!
Brenda is
now shampooing her hair and getting herself ready to go out to the church later
for the Christening of Peter & Barbara’s son Leo, all the pictures later.
I’m getting ready after she has finished.
We have just has a very long and ‘newsy’ E-Mail from our dear fried Joyce over inChester so we will reply a little later.

He was given the 'Champions Jockey' trophy as he won it for the 20th consecutive time!! See the pictures below of him with the trainer Jonjo O'Neill & the owner JP McManus - at the end everybody was in tears including him,his famliy & friends and me!!

For our
supper this evening we are having ‘Entrecote Steak’ cooked on a hot griddle
‘Rare’ with sautéed Baby Mushrooms & Shallots, finely sliced Green Beans
and of course twice cooked ‘Frits’ and a sauceboat of Béarnaise sauce on the
side.
We will the
settle down to catch up with all the sports round up on the excellent ‘Cuatro’
channel; then it will be time to find a film to watch.
Thoughts
