A WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON MONDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEK;

MONDAY 13^th/ APRIL 2015.

This morning Brenda was up early and shot down to the surgery as she has a problem with one of her heart tablet prescriptions, the receptionist was not very helpful, in fact he was down right rude with her, she could not get an appointment until Friday morning, we are going to report him as the things he said to her was not very nice.

At lunchtime we went for a walk with 'Chispa' and Mano,Anna & Sally Ann came along and joined us for a coffee and chat in 'Bar Las Vinas'- as we were talking we told them about Brenda's experience at the surgery earlier this morning; Sally Ann on her way home called into the surgery and made a formal complaint against the gentleman in question, in writing, in the correct formal document in perfect Spanish- the local  medical authority have two weeks to reply!  Watch this space. Thank's Sally Ann!!

Anyway we went along to the Chemists in Calle Mar and Miguel was very helpful and let her have the tablets without a prescription! I picked up one of my tablets at the same time – the ‘Motto’ for today is “Keep taking the Tablets”!

After returning we had our weekly ‘Menu’ planning meeting; this evening we are having ‘Cold Roast Beef’ with a fry-up of the leftover vegetables & potatoes, then on Tuesday its going to be pan fried ‘Escalope of Chicken Breast’ which we picked up this morning from our butchers, Wednesday as we are out at the hospital first thing in the morning for Brenda’s appointment for her eye check up, so its going to be ‘Calves Liver, Bacon & Sausage’ Thursday is find something in the fridge day and of course on Friday it will be fish, Saturday night is ‘Steak Night’ and Sunday is yet to agreed TBC!

This week in ‘Doggy World Heaven’ ‘Reina’ is back as usual on Tuesday &Thursday and ‘Scruffy’ is now on a two night sleep over on Saturday & Sunday, meanwhile ‘Chispa’ will be with us every day after we pick her up.

The weather today is very pleasant with a clear blue sky and the sun was out early, we will find out what the rest of the week ahead has in store later on the lunchtime news,tomorrow we think that there is a little rain about.

Last night after supper, the ‘Roast Topside of English Beef’  which was very tasty,we settled down and watched a film “ Paranoia” from 2013 – a thriller with lots of twists, it was panned by the critics and at the box office it ‘Bombed’ but we enjoyed it anyway; it stars Liam Hemsworth & Amber Heard? with a strong cast of Gary Oldman,Harrison Ford & Richard Dreyfuss
