I was up
first this morning to see ‘Reina’ back for a sleep over with us until tomorrow
afternoon when ‘Scruffy’ is due back for his sleep over until Sunday morning,
she is then back with us for a few hours on Sunday; are you keeping up?! I have
it all in our ‘Day Dairy’ with a colour coding! ‘Green’ for ‘Reina’ Yellow’ for
‘Scruffy’ Blue’ for ‘Charlie’(the dog) and ‘Red’ for our appointments!!
Our dear friend Jane's 'Hot Cross Buns' early am this morning from her Bakery in Northwich!

After a
quick breakfast we got a lot of rubbish ready to be picked up by the Council at
10-3O am, they arrived on time and took away, at no cost, the old Microwave,
Exercise Bicycle, large empty boxes & general rubbish; I had asked my
contact in the appropriative department for the help – it pays to know the right
people!
Sabinillas beach this morning;

Brenda has
been down and collected ‘Chispa’ so as she can play with her friend and not be
chased by the local wild dogs. We will go for a little walk later. As we were out we bumped three English ladies sat outside a bar in 'Calle Mar,they had ridden up the hill on their small collapsible bikes so we had a nice chat and saw them off back down the hill!
For our supper this evening we are having as its ‘Good Friday’ “Goujons of Hake Fillet in a ‘Cruzcampo’ Beer Batter” with Mushy Green Peas and twice-cooked diced ‘Frits’ Homemade Tomato Salsa 'Orly'style and lots of local Lemon ‘wedges’ from our neighbors Campo.

This is
after we return from this evenings ‘ Procesion Del Santo Entiero Y Ntra,Sra,De
Los Dolores’ – who is the virgin Dolores? The two 'Trono's' are due at 7-00 pm after the Mass
at the church, later after midnight it’s the second procession of the
evening when in total silence the ‘Procesion De La Soledo’takes place.
We will
then settle down to catch up with all the news and weather details; the
forecast has not changed, at the moment, so its dry and cool in sunny Manilva
for the rest of the weekend.
Thoughts
for the Day; See above.
