A WARM AND SUNNY MANILVA ON THURSDAY;

THURSDAY 26^th/ FEBRUARY 2015.

I was up early as usual on a Thursday morning to see ‘Reina’ in, she’s here for the day, no doubt ‘Chispa will be along later and we will then go for a nice walk with them; the sun was out first thing and the sky is bright blue, there is no breeze and when you are in the sun its warm, more of the same to come and by Sunday its getting warmer!'Reina' is back with us on Saturday evening as Daniela has a 'Gig' in a local Bar.

We met Anna & Sally Ann in ' Bar Las Vinas' and had a good chat and gossip along with a cool drink,its hot out today in sunny Manilva,on the way back to the house we found that the Council workmen have started to erect the stage outside the Town Hall for the 'Flag Rising' etc. on Saturday for 'Andalusia Day as the weather forecast is good for the day,some of the celebrations will still take place down in the Congress Centre later.

After breakfast I shot out down to Sabinillas as yesterday when we were out we spotted in the first charity shop that we visited, next to the English bookshop, a very nice and spectacularly cheap settee, it’s the same shop were we found our cream leather settee, so we measured up when we came home and decided to put it in the ‘chill–out’ room on the first floor landing, if it fitted, it did but sadly it was already sold by the time I got back to the shop! What will be will be!! He who hesitates is lost!!!

For our supper this evening we are having my now famous ‘Big Malc Burgers’ but not in a tower/stack as usual but on Brenda’s request she is having a ‘Double Big Malc Cheeseburger’ so I’m going to have a ‘Double Big Malc Mixed Burger’ topped with a ‘Campo’ Fried Egg, of course we are having on the side Brenda’s version of ‘Stringfellows’ served in Paper Cones! I’m using three sorts of the Homemade Burgers,Pork, Beef & Chicken from out butchers in the village.See below!

We are taking things easy today and catching up with chores around the house,at the moment Brenda is washing her hair ready for Sundays lunch out to celebrate ‘Saint David’s Day’ The outfits are already chosen, watch out for my new( second hand charity) bright Red jumper!

This evening after supper we will channel hop and find something to watch.
