I was up to see ‘Reina’ back with us for
the day, tomorrow she’s staying over night, we then had our breakfast before
getting the day on the go, I shot along to our local bank in Calle Mar to pay
the electricity bill, its a little lower than normal as we had a slightly
warmer November, December & January, I popped into our local shop at the
bottom of our street for some fresh vegetables, took the bin bag up to the
waste bins, sorted the washing out in the drying room and then took apart the
bed on the settee in the lounge as Brenda is moving back up stairs today! We
have just made the bed in our bedroom and at the moment the floors are getting
mopped by Brenda, I will do the stairs when she’s finished! I now have another large wash to get on the go
later. We are then showering and freshening ourselves up, we are getting back
to normal, slowly. Watch this space.
The sun is out, the sky is blue and there
is no breeze, its already warm and by lunchtime its due to reach 21/22 degs,
the forecast for over the weekend and into next week is for more of the same,
its settled and dry for now. See the picture below of the ‘El Peñoncillo’
vineyards below the village this morning.
And the sunset over the village this evening;

Colwyn Tim & Thea are setting off on their travels in their motor home,
France and then Spain are on the route, we are hoping to see them some time in
May?! We wish them a safe journey and ‘ Bon Voyage’ & love xxxx.
This afternoon we will be watching on
Channel 4 the Horse racing from the “ Grand National’ meeting at Aintree, its
on for the next three days leading up to the big race on Saturday, many happy
memories of my early days living by the race course and being chased by ‘Mrs Mirabel
Topham’- the formidable owner! See the picture below of the Albert Dock in
Liverpool yesterday.
This evening after supper we will settle to
watch the next episode in ‘ Line Of Duty’ So for now we are getting back into
our routine of living down on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ in sunny Manilva!!
