I was up early this morning to see ‘Reina’
back with us for the day as she was being dropped off first thing, I then shot
out on my travels down to Sabinillas for the weekly shopping, I stopped at our
bank for some cash and then collected the local newspapers from the ‘ English
Bookshop’ I then did the main shop in ‘ Mercadona’ before going along the coast
road to the offices of ‘ Helicopteros Sanitarios’ to sign all the documents and
collect our membership cards, on the way back I went along the promenade to the
local market to buy some fresh flowers & wall plants, lastly I called into ‘
Super Sol’ for some English essentials.
This morning its grey & overcast with a
stiff breeze but its still mild, 18 degs overnight and 21/22 degs during the
day, over the weekend and into the start of next week its getting back to
normal for the time of the year, warm and sunny.
After unpacking back at the house I shot
along to the chemists in ‘ Calle Mar’ for Brenda’s prescription tablets and on
the way back I popped down to our local shop at the bottom of the street for
some fresh fruit and vegetables. For our supper this evening we are having ' Posh Fish & Chips' - ' Grilled Fillets of Hake a la Meuniere' with Garden Peas and ' Pont Neuf' Potatoes - ' Door Step Frits' Tomorrow night we have some very nice 'Fillet Steaks' and then on Sunday its ' Escalope's Of Turkey Breast' with savoury Basmati Rice.

Last night in the ‘ Europe League
Semi-Final First Leg’ Liverpool lost 1-0 at Villarreal in the 92nd
minute of injury time as the Spanish team took advantage of slack defence marking!
The second leg is at Anfield next week! Watch this space.
We then settled down to watch the final
episode of ‘ Line of Duty’ on BBC2 – it did not disappoint us, the three main
interrogation/interview scenes were gripping and very well acted, the main
character was charged with murder as he was ‘ fitted up’ by the corrupt cop in
the ‘ Anti Corruption Squad’ – all the allegations, bluffs and suspicions
started to unfold as one of squad went undercover and started to find all the
clues to the murders and cover-ups by all the Council, Police ( Masonic ) and
Celebrities as well as a surprise corrupt ‘CPS’ solicitor, finally the corrupt
cop was brought in to be interviewed in the main office, guarded by two
policemen with automatic weapons, eventually his alibi and lies were shown as
false, at this moment as he realized that he was caught he nodded to one of
the police guards who then opened up with his automatic pistol and shot dead
the other policemen and then shot up the office!!
Unbelievable and very exciting, the two
corrupt cops then charged out of the building through the streets and were
chased by just one policewomen, the one that had been undercover, she was also
armed by this time with a machine gun, she shot out the tyres of the car he was
getting away in after shooting the policeman killer dead, in the end the
corrupt cop from the ‘Anti Corruption Squad’ was shot by one of his fellow
conspirator’s from the escape car, to keep him quiet, before he died he confessed
and gave all the names away, at the very end the nasty senior policeman was
arrested and charged!! The main character who was in jail, all the time all
this was going on, was then freed and went back to work with his colleague’s.
Are you following?? What a ending.
Thoughts for the Day; See above.
