A WARM & CRISP SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY:

TUESDAY 5th/ APRIL 2016.

Well, ‘ Good Evening’ – the Blog is late today because yesterday evening at around 6.00 pm we had a surprise rain storm hit us here in sunny Manilva and it knocked out the TV & Internet systems for a short while, the TV came back on but the new computer system was not happy and I had to ask Lee when he collected ‘Reina’ this evening to have a look at it, all’s well and we are back to normal, for now! ‘Reina’ arrived this morning as usual and is now staying the night on Friday as well as its Daniela’s birthday and Lee is planning a surprise; the weather today has been back to normal, the sun was out early and the sky is blue, there is a slight breeze and by lunchtime it reached 23 degs, the forecast is for more of the same, if not getting a little warmer, up to and over the weekend.

After our breakfast treat of ‘ Sausage Butties’ with mugs of tea we sorted ourselves out as we had our appointments down at the surgery to update our prescription and get Brenda’s feet checked out;

“ NEWSFLASH – BRENDA’S HEALTH UPDATE “

I collected Brenda from the house, in the car, and we shot down to the local surgery by the sports ground, after sorting out the prescription the Relief Lady Doctor gave Brenda the once over after reading all her reports, she has immediately arranged some blood tests back at the hospital past Marbella, first thing in the morning, this means that we are getting up at 6-00am as we have to face the ‘Emergency Department’ again!! The problem is when Brenda tries to walk on her right leg/foot the whole leg, after a short while, goes very large and stiff?! The tests are to find out/check the blood circulation and also the thrombosis levels, Brenda does take a tablet and has done so for some time for her blood circulation, we then have to, as well as seeing what the hospital says, go back to the Doctor at the surgery to arrange the necessary treatment!! Watch this space.

This morning, first thing, I shot down to the butchers for some of his excellent, sliced to order, by hand, ‘ Escalope’s of Chicken Breast’ which we had for our supper this evening, I pan fried them in Lime Butter with a dash of Balsamic Vinegar, we had Diamond Cut Green Beans & Sauteed Potatoes.

So tomorrow we have cancelled ‘Reina’ – she’s back on Thursday – we don’t know how long it will take at the hospital so we prepared for a long wait! Watch this space.
