No lie in
this morning as Brenda is off to the hairdressers down in Sabinillas and
‘Scruffy’ is due for the day; after a quick breakfast we shot down to
Sabinillas with ‘Scruffy’ in the back of the car, he’s no problem and loves
going out for a ride!
The rain
has gone away and the sky is blue & the sun is out, back to normal in sunny
Manilva, the forecast is also looking good for the next few days and over the
weekend with it getting warmer each day down here on the ‘Costa Del Sol’ but
sadly in Northern Spain they are having severe rain storms and flooding along
with fresh falls of deep snow!
When I got
back up to the house ‘Chispa’ was waiting outside the front door so I had to
look after both of the dogs as I was making the ‘Chicken Curry for tonight’s supper;
no problem as they are both very well behaved and I also gave then some cooked
Chicken to keep then quite! See the 'Chicken Curry' below served with Garden Peas & Banana!
At lunchtime I walked down with 'Scruffy'to the bus stop and met Brenda off the bus,she looks like a new women and has also picked up a new hairdryer to look after the new cut!They have started to finish off the 'Roman Urn' surrounds with 'Manilva Stone' as you can see below;

There are
two invites posted to us on Facebook this morning, one for tomorrow night in
the new office’s of the ‘Compromiso Manilva’ party next to ‘Bar Castillio’ –
it’s an open forum to voice your opions! The other is from the Mayor, Diego, to
the official opening of the new ‘Sports Hall & Complex’ down in Sabinillas
early on Friday evening. We are going to show our faces at the first and
partake in the festivities at the second one!
PS; Friday has just been declared a 'National Day of Mourning' so the opening has been moved to Saturday evening.

Last night
we found a good film to watch about the life of the heavyweight boxing champion
James J Braddock back in the 1930s “ Cinderella Man” from 2005, the tile role
is played by Russell Crowe & his wife is played by Renee Zellweger,Paul
Giamatti is the coach & promoter with a ‘Heart’! A true story!!
After
supper this evening we will settle down to catch up with all the news,
including the updates on the tragic plane crash yesterday which of course has
been widely covered by all the main six channels in great detail over the past
24 hours.
Thoughts
for the Day; See above.
