SUNNY MANILVA STILL DRY AT THE MOMENT ON SATURDAY;;

“EASTER SATURDAY” 19^th/ APRIL 2014.

I took ‘Scruffy’ for his first walk of the day before breakfast, he’s settled in very well and is back into our routine, he went straight to his bed last night and is at the moment playing around my feet with ‘Chispa’ who has just arrived! I’ am tuned into BBC TV 1 on the small PC and I’ am watching ‘Saturday Morning Kitchen- Live’ as the Blog is being typed on the larger PC!

At lunchtime we took both the dogs for a walk around the village,we bumped into Josie & Den so arranged to pick them up at 9-00am tomorrow morning to take them across to the airport in Gibraltar,then outside 'Bar Rojas' Lillemor & Linda were having some Tapas so we arranged to pick them up on Wednesday morning at 10-00am to take Linda to the bus station across in Marbella; in Calle Mar a new small 'Pizzeria' has opened as you can see in the pictures above, good reports already!

On the sports front this weekend Lewis Hamilton has just taken the pole position for tomorrows ‘Chinese Grand Prix’ in Shanghai; over in England in the ‘Premier League’ tomorrow Liverpool travel to Norwich Everton welcome Manchester Utd and then on Monday its Manchester City v West Brom; in ‘La Liga’  its Atletico Madrid v Elche and Barcelona v Athletic Bilbao.

Tonight’s supper is plain ‘Steak a la Plancha’ with a Baked Potato with finely sliced Green Beans and a Tomato Salad! We will then watch the sports and news updates from around Europe before finding a film to watch, last night is was “ Ben Hur ” & “Samson and Delila’!!

No procession’s today it’s just the ‘Blessing of the Flame’ and the Easter Vigil in the church atrium later this evening.
