SATURDAY 1st/
MARCH 2014 “SAINT DAVIDS DAY”
We were
awoken this morning by the shop delivery man rolling down the goods on the
wheeled pallets, normally this happens on Friday but because of the bank
holiday its today! The weather forecast for today is a little over cast and
damp but tomorrow it changes back to normal and it will reach 21/22 degs into
next week; at the moment I’ am watching on the smaller PC via my internet
connection BBC TV Breakfast News before catching ‘Saturday Morning Kitchen’
I’ve posted
above some more pictures of yesterday’s ‘Dia De Andalucia’ festivities; today
there is a concert in the Wine Theater this evening but we are taking things
easy and staying in, Brenda’s catching up with the chores and as you see I’ am
up in the office on the WWW. catching up with E-Mails, etc. I’ am still not
still quit right but will be soon, hopefully – I’ am back to eating and the
menu’s are back to normal; tonight we are having ‘Steak a la Plancha’ with
sautéed Mushrooms, finley sliced Green Beans and of course twice-cooked chips! Tomorrow
no roast as we are having ‘Medallions of Pork Fillet’ with ‘Charcutiere’ sauce.
A very
happy “ Dewi Sant ” – “ Saint David’s Day ” to all our friends over in North
Wales which could get even better next weekend when England welcome Wales in the
‘Six Nations Rugby Union’! Come on the boys in Red!
Meanwhile over in Australia the 'Welsh Gang of Four' have so far traveled over 1300 kms passing lots of very large ' Creepy- Crawlies' on the way!
