GUADALMINA TODAY.

TUESDAY / FRIDAY 29TH JUNE /2ND JULY 2010.

On Tuesday morning after fresh orange juice with coffee and toast we saw Jeff and Annette off on their travels as they headed back to England before they go to Canada for their daughter,Kate,21st birthday next week and then back to Kuala Lumpur. We then spent the day getting ready to go over to Guadalmina early on Wednesday morning, in the evening we stayed at home and watched the Spain v Portugal game, near the end when Spain was leading 1 nil I went up to Bar Rojas with my whistle and soon had a party of ladies, friends and family of Lume, singing and clapping as Spain won,Manolo then let off some rockets on Calle Mar !

Early on Wednesday we went across to Guadalmina and dropped Clive and Caroline off at the airport in Malaga,on the way back we called in for a some breakfast at Tricky Ricky’s and some shopping. The villa is looking very good at this time of the year with all the bright flowers out, it is very hot and sunny so we take the dogs for a walk early in the morning, the pictures below show the villa this morning, the vegetable and fruit garden is starting to produce so we picked the Lettuce for our salad today. The dogs spend all their time inside on the marble floor, keeping cool and Abbie who is younger than Bruno can play out for a bit longer.

This week we have been taking things very easy and go for our swim as the sun moves round in the evening, this week the gardener has been in, Joan’s hairdresser and companion have looked after her and we have been eating a little bit healthier! This is a big sport weekend,Cricket,Motor Cycling,Tennis,Football and the Tour de France so we are settled in front of the TV. Come on Spain tonight when the play Paraguay.

PS; Spain have just beaten Paraguay 1- nil and play Germany on Wednesday in the semi-final of the World Cup !!
