A VERY WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY.

TUESDAY 16th/ APRIL 2019.

I was up early, again, this morning and after a very quick freshen up I shot across to the ‘Estepona Hospital ‘ for my penultimate appointment  in the ‘Physiotherapy Department’ for treatment on my left-hand. I found a spot to park at the top of the hill, past the Hospital, and had a quick tostado & tea in ‘Tikitapi’ before crossing over to the Hospital.

We have another glorious day down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ – the sun was blinding as I went along the coast road past a very calm, blue/green, Mediterranean, the sky was bright blue and cloudless and there was just a very slight breeze, by lunchtime it’s forecast to rise to 24 degs+ - tomorrow is going to be a little cooler, with patchy clouds, before the ‘wet-stuff’ is due to hit us from Thursday onwards, as the breeze pick up, sadly it looks like it’s with us all over the “ Semana Santa “ - ‘ Easter Weekend’ and into the start of next week, by Tuesday, next week, the sun is due to return, going back up to 23/25 degs+! -  just in time for our visit to Malaga ( see below) Watch this space.

Last night we were in touch with Jane & David over in Cheshire on the ‘ Facebook Video Link-Up’ . we have arranged to meet them next Tuesday morning at the ‘ Atarazanas Malaga Boutique Hotel’ opposite the world famous Market, of the same name, where they are staying for three days, from Monday, on a short-break, we have booked into the Hotel, for the night, so we are in for a ‘ Helluva’ time out in the ‘Bars & Restaurants’ of Malaga! Watch this space.

In the ‘Physiotherapy Department this morning an older Spanish couple, from Manilva, who have been having treatment over the past couple of weeks, asked me if a could give them a lift back to the village, so I dropped them off at the top of ‘ Calle Mar’ by their street, I then after parking the car in the underground car park, walked around to our Butchers in ‘Calle Ingelsia’ – sadly he was closed as the work in the street had just reached his shop and you could not get across the rocks!

I carried on around the back of the village and called into the other ‘ Lady’ Butchers’ shop for some stock for the deep-freeze, three assorted homemade Burgers, Chicken Wings for Thursday and Pork ‘Mince’ for tomorrow’s ‘ Cottage Pie ‘ This afternoon I’m going down to the main ‘ Medical Centre’ for my appointment with the ‘Practise Nurse’ for my monthly injection of ‘ V12’

See below ‘ St George’s Hall ‘ in Liverpool, last night, in tribute to the  ‘ Hillsborougth 96’ disaster back on April 15th 1989.

For our supper this evening we are having ‘ Chicken n’ Chips’ – ‘Escalope’s of Chicken Breast’ – pan-seared in foaming Balsamic Vinegar Lime Butter, with twice-cooked ‘ Chips’ & thinly sliced ‘ French’ Green Beans. Tomorrow evening I’m making a ‘ Cottage Pie’ – a classic recipe, topped with Brenda famous ‘ Mashed Potato’!

I managed to get the ‘IPTV’ system up & running, so were able to channel hop, to catch up with all the ‘ Quiz Shows’ that we follow, then after supper we caught the next two-part episode, this week, of ‘ The Widow’ on ITV, as more details started to immerge of the plane crash, in the ‘ Congo’ and what happened, to the missing/killed husband of the ‘ Widow’?!

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
