A GLORIOUS FRESH, WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY.

TUESDAY 30th/ APRIL 2019.

I was up early again this morning and after a quick freshen up I shot off across the ‘ Estepona Hospital’ for my next appointment at the ‘ Physiotherapy Department’ for more treatment on my left hand, as it’s the ‘ May Day Bank Holiday’ tomorrow I will be back on Thursday morning, next week it’s only three days as Encarni, the ‘ Head Physio’ is away on a course on Tuesday.

I found a spot to park at the top of the hill past the Hospital and had my usual tostado  & tea in ‘ Tikitapi’ before going across to the Hospital.

See below the latest pictures of the new ‘ Estepona Hospital’ which is due to open later this year, making our journey a lot shorter, down from over 100 kms to just 12 kms, for the round trip!

We have a glorious day down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ this morning, the sun was out first thing, the sky was cloudless & blue as there is a very light breeze, by lunchtime it will be 22 degs+ - a perfect day, with just normal traffic, no holidays makers, staying fresh & sunny, overnight hovering on the 12/13 degs mark, tomorrow is the same, then on Thursday its going a little cooler, before picking up over the weekend, raising to 24/25 degs+ by Sunday - next week is now looking dry, warm & very sunny, by next Thursday it’s forecast to reach 29degs+! This evening for our supper we are now having ‘ Pan-Seared Lambs Liver’ – dusted in seasoned flour and ‘ Flash’ cooked on a very hot griddle-plate ‘Pink – no blood’ – served with Grilled English Pork Sausages, cooked this morning by the ‘ Second Chef’ – while I was out, so when I returned I had a ‘ Toasted Sausage Butty’ – smother in ‘HP Brown sauce with another mug of tea, with the ‘Liver’ we will be having also some ‘ Crispy Smoked Spanish Bacon’ and accompanied with a rich ‘ Red Wine ( thanks Brenda !) Onion, Shallot & Mushroom’ salsa, with Glazed Carrot Batons, Wilted ‘ Greens’ and ‘Goose-Fat’ Roast Potatoes , that I made extra on Sunday!

Yesterday evening after supper we watched the penultimate episode of ‘ The Widow’ – the final one is this evening, as she found her husband alive & well, across the border in Ruanda, living with a local lady and his baby! He didn’t get on the plane that crashed, as he was warned not to, he’s into gold & diamond smuggling, at the end there was another surprise turn as the ‘Charity Lady’- who is behind all the smuggling, who was ‘ Killed’ is still alive?! Watch this space.

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
