A VERY WINDY & ' FRESH' SUNNY MANILVA ON FRIDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEKEND.

FRIDAY 22^nd/ MARCH 2019.

I was up early again this morning and after a quick freshen up I shot off on my travels, down to Sabinillas, for the weekly shopping, I had my usual toast & tea in ‘ItZabar’ before ‘ Mercadona’ opened, it was a little busier than usual, I then picked up the local newspapers from the ‘ English Bookshop’ before going along to the far end of a very windy promenade for some fresh flowers and wall plants, on the way back up the hill I called into ‘ Super Sol ‘ for our English essentials, before unloading back at the house.

As I set off it was a little grey & overcast with a stiff ‘Lavente’ breeze blowing up from the rather rough Mediterranean, that was clearing away the rain clouds, for now, by lunchtime it’s due to only reach 16 degs+ - over the weekend it’s staying the same with the threat of the ‘ wet-stuff’ in the air all the time, next week is looking rather unsettled, windy and wet, with the sunshine struggling to break through, with lots of patchy rain clouds, hovering in the high ‘ teens – 18/19 degs, overnight down to 12/13 degs, watch this space.

Next week in ‘ Doggy World Heaven ‘ we only have ‘ Scruffy’ back with us on Monday, for the day, as Adrian & Rose are at the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ Hospital, meanwhile I’m back for four more appointments at the ‘Estepona’ Hospital from Monday to Thursday, for more treatment at the Physiotherapy Department on my left-hand.

For our supper this evening we are having ‘ Goujons of Hake Fillet’ – shallow-fried in a ‘Cruzcampo Beer Batter’ – served with Mushy Peas and twice-cooked ‘ Chips’ – accompanied with Homemade ‘Tartar ‘sauce and lots of Lemon Wedges. On Saturday we are having ‘ Grilled Fillet Steaks’ with all the trimmings and then on Sunday it’s going to be a “ Roast ‘Lemon’ Chicken “ with a large selection of Vegetables and of course ‘ Goose Fat Roast Potatoes’ and my finger-licking ‘Pan’ Gravy!

Yesterday afternoon we caught up with the penultimate episode of ‘ Baptiste’ that we missed last Sunday, then we checked out all the ‘ Quiz Shows’ that we follow, later after supper we found a good film to watch.
