ANOTHER WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY;

WEDNESDAY 6^th / JULY 2016.

I was up early this morning as ‘ Reina’ was being dropped off for the day here in ‘ Doggy World Heaven ‘ – we then went back to bed for a nice lie in before the day ahead; after breakfast of toast & tea we sorted ourselves out, Brenda is getting more washing on the go and I’m back upstairs in the office/ studio on the ‘ WWW ‘ – as usual. ‘ Chispa’ has just called in to see her girlfriend, at this time of the year she’s in and out all the time.

The forecasted threatened ‘ Atlantic Storm ‘ for today has moved around but could still hit us tomorrow, its warm & sunny at the moment and by lunchtime it will get hotter, last night was very hot and uncomfortable so the little lie in helps you catch up with your sleep, by Friday we will be back to normal and the forecast for next week is for more of the same and getting a lot warmer, 35 + degs every day!

Tonight for supper we are having ‘ Grilled Gammon Steaks ‘ topped with a ‘ Campo’ Fried Egg with Garden Peas and twice-cooked ‘ Frits’ – not forgetting the’ HP’ sauce! On Thursday its find something in the deep freeze time and then on Friday its our ‘ Fish Night ‘ after I’ve checked out the fish market, watch this space.

More Tennis today from Wimbledon and later its the 5^th Stage of the “ Tour De France “ which is from Limoges to Le Lioran over a hilly 216 kms, see the route map below.

This evenings ‘ Semi-Final ‘ of the ‘ UEFA European Championship’ is taking place in Lyon, France, a friend from here ‘John Jones ‘ has gone to watch the game as Wales play Portugal for a place in the final, he has a fine ‘ Baritone’ voice and is part of the North Wales ‘ Massif ‘! Watch this space.

The plans for the re-launch of ‘ Castle Radio FM 89.2 & Online on the WWW’ are starting to take shape; the new Studio complex in ‘ Puerto de la Duquesa’ with offices, recording booths and the main fully equipped sound proof studio are nearly ready, the live broadcasts will also be on ‘ Web-Cams’- there are new programme schedules and presenters. 

Andrew has appointed a Station Manager/Presenter ‘ Sid Olivera’ who has been in broadcasting for many years, British Forces Radio Gibraltar, Spectrum, & Global to mention just a few, its all due to take place at the 1^st of August, watch this space to see if my show makes it back on air ‘ Live’ from my studio in the heart of sunny Manilva – fingers crossed !?

PS. I’ve just heard from Andrew that the broadcasting programmes could be installed on my system this Friday! It all getting rather exciting !!
