THURSDAY 28th / JULY 2016.
We managed another nice lie in this morning
as ‘ Reina’ was not due back with us until later in the morning, overnight we
had a sleepless night due to the very hot temperatures, 25degs+! After our
normal breakfast of toast & tea we did the shopping list for tomorrow’s weekly
shopping down in Sabinillas, its going to be a ‘ fight’ as we are now into the height
of the holiday season, watch this space.
We have another very hot day as the sun was
out early and there is no breeze, the forecast for over the weekend and into
next week is for more of the same, getting hotter as time goes on ,we will
survive!
First thing this morning we had a ‘ Skype’
video call from Jack & Lyn over in Melbourne, they were in their ‘Winter Woolies’ as its the winter over in Australia, we had a good old catch up with
all their news, they are back into the routine with all their family parties
etc, Jack is having a heart check up after the results of some tests, just like
us over here with all our check ups, at our time of life, as our Doctor says ‘
Keep taking the tablets’ and we will maintain your quality of life!
We are having a last day home taking things
easy and then this evening as its the ‘ Chef’s & Staff ‘ night off we are
going up to ‘Bar Castillo’ for a Tapas supper before we go down to the ‘Casa
del Torres’ Cultural Centre for the last music concert of the month, tonight
its a string quartet with a classical music repertoire, watch this space.
