WEDNESDAY 15th / JUNE 2016.
I was up first his morning as I had an appointment
with our local Dentist ‘ Victor Hugo ’for a quick check up & clean; when I
got back to the house we grabbed a quick cup of tea and a piece of toast and
then collected the folks from their apartment, we then shot across to Estepona.
Its another glorious day down here on the ‘
Costa Del Sol ‘ with hot sunshine and clear blue skies since early this
morning, there is a light breeze that’s making it very pleasant and bearable,
over the next few days we have more to come of the same, the Mediterranean is
sparkling with small white tops, all the trees Have Orange & Lilac Blossom
out, the birds are singing and so are we!
I managed to find a parking space next to
the main entrance of the “ Orqudario -
Orchid House “ and we were just in time for when the three waterfalls are in
full flow, the Orchids are starting to come out and it was not busy as there
are no holidaymakers at the moment! See the pictures above with also some of
the local ‘Painted Wall Murals’ on the sides of the local buildings, all over
the town there are more of the same!
We then went along the coast road to the
new ‘ Boulevard ‘ in San Pedro De Alcantara’ where I dropped the folks off
outside the Bar/ Restaurant ‘Calderon’ – we had as usual an excellent ‘ Tapas’
lunch with the ‘star’ the ‘ Carrillada Meat Salsa ‘ This evening we are going
down to Sabinillas for supper, watch this space.
