A VERY HOT & SUNNY MANILVA & ESTEPONA ON FRIDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEKEND;

FRIDAY 17^th / JUNE 2016.

I was up first this morning and shot out down to Sabinillas for the weekly shopping, I collected the local newspapers from the ‘English Bookshop’ then did a small shop in ‘Mercadona’ before going along to the local market at the far end of the promenade for the fresh flowers, I then shot up through the ever growing vine fields to the house to unload, Brenda had done all the washing up while I was out ( sorry!)  -we unpacked and got the house back to normal after last night’s ‘ Gourmet Festival’!

We have another beautiful day down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ – the sun was out early and the sky is bright blue, there is no breeze so its going to be very hot by lunchtime, the weekend is looking fine and next week we are having more of the same, we have all the fans on around the house, the duvets have been packed away, the shorts are on and we are in full ‘ hot’ mode!

We are collecting the folks at lunchtime and going along to the ‘ H10 Estepona ‘ for a nice cool drink before carrying on to our favourite restaurant “ Kokomo “ for lunch, this evening we are taking things easy at the hotel with the folks and are going to go up to the roof terrace bar  overlooking the mountains and down to the Mediterranean. See the folks on the steps of ' Kokomo ' after lunch !

PS, I have managed to book a table on Sunday back at ' Kokomo' for their ' Sunday Roast' . Sally the owner was very helpful, thanks ! 

PPS; I've cancelled our table at ' Taste by Dirk' !! 

Tomorrow morning I’m out down at the studio in ‘Castillo de la Duquesa’  as I broadcast ‘ live’ my ‘ Sir Malcolm’s Saturday Classic Show’ for two hours at 11-00 am, listen in and keep the requests coming in! The folks with Brenda  ( the co-producer ) are listening in at their apartment on the small radio!

On Saturday evening we are having a ‘Al Fresco’ supper on the roof terrace of ‘ La Travita ’above Duquesa Marina, then on Sunday we are going along to the golf club for a drink on the way to lunch at ‘ Taste by Dirk’ where we have reserved a ‘ Gazebo’ in the garden. Next week’s agenda is also arranged with visits to Sotogrande on Monday and a full day out in Malaga on Tuesday! Watch this space.
