We were up
early this morning and shot across to Estepona to be there for the shops
opening; we had a nice coffee & tostado by the Barbers shop as that was my
first port of call, Brenda then went off to pick up some essential
makeup/cosmetics, she also found a new umbrella and scarf but is waiting for
the January sales to find some new boots!
Next we
found the large ‘Pawn Shop’ which buys old Mobile phones, we have five, they
pay you if you can supply them with their charger and un-blocked, so we are
going to sort them out and take them back after Xmas! We then came back along
the coast to Sabinillas and I picked up some ‘Photo Copy’ paper and topped the
car up with petrol for the Xmas period.
We stopped
at the ‘Chinese Bazaar’ for a small picture frame and then carried on down the
coast to Sotogrande to get some more ‘English Goodies’ from the
‘Iceland/Waitrose’ supermarket including Mint Jelly and Piccalilli!
‘Scruffy’
was picked up early last night as Rose had come home not feeling very well so
she collected him and his ‘House’ He’s back on Wednesday & Thursday before
he joins us for his Xmas holidays on Sunday ‘Reina’ is here on Tuesday,
Thursday & Friday this week.
The rain
stopped yesterday evening and the forecast for this week is looking a lot
better with the clear blue skies back and sun will be out as its gets warmer as
the week goes on. As we drove back this lunchtime the Mediterranean was shimmering with the sea Blue
& Green as we came along the spectacular coast road.
After
getting back up to the house we then shot out to the local bank to pay the
electricity bill and then collect some prescriptions from the chemists in Calle
Mar; Brenda also spotted a Xmas Table cloth in the local fancy good shop. So we
are all up to date and ready for the week ahead!
So tonight we are having the “Pukka Meat Pies” that we picked up last
week with a fry-up of the leftovers.
We will then catch up with all the news, sport and weather details
before finding some thing to watch.
Thoughts for the Day; See above.
