BREAKING NEWS;

King Juan Carlos of Spain who is 76 has decided to abdicate, it’s just been announced by the Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy – the King’s son Crown Prince Felipe,45 will take over the throne. He’s ruled since 1975 after taking over after the death of the dictator Francisco Franco. There is no history in Spain of abdications so he is setting a precedent, the Prince is the youngest of his three children but as he is the only male he succeeds, they have now changed the ‘Right of Succession’ to the first born so the Prince’s elder daughter will be the Queen in many years time; he has two beautiful blonde daughters and is married to a divorced TV Newsreader! See the picture above.

Now back to more important things, tonight’s supper! We are having pan-seared ‘Calves Liver’ dusted in seasoned flour with English Pork Sausages, Smoked Bacon, Griddled Tomato, Onion Rings and Mushroom; from the vegetable department we are having Garden Peas & Broad Beans and a little of my famous Tomato Salsa on the side!See the picture above. On Tuesday we are having ‘Baked Pork Chops’- cut English style with some local fresh Cabbage with Acelgas & Baby Carrots -  Wednesday’s feast is yet to be arranged!!

Brenda has just weighed in as its Monday, she has lost nearly 2kilos in two weeks, my results later.

At the moment the ‘Euro’ is holding up so one of our Pensions being transferred this morning is looking a little healthier! A ‘Good News Week’!!

Over the weekend on the sports front yesterday Marc Marquez saw off the challenge of Jorge Lorenzo to claim a sixth successive win at the ‘Motor GP’ at Mugello in Italy; also in Italy the Colombian rider Nairo Quintana won the Giro D’Ialia  - meanwhile on the ‘Isle of Man’ the start of the famous “ TT” races have been delayed by rain!

The painters arrived this evening and have finished the job, the new wall pots are up and we will get some more plants in the morning - watch out for the pictures to follow! I've just been told by a mole in the council that they are going to copy Estepona and have ordered 500 wall pots in different colour's for the village TBC - Watch this space ?!
