TUESDAY 17th/
JUNE 2014.
Well no lie
in this morning as its delivery day down the street so we were up and at’im
early! After our breakfast we showered and freshened up we now have to think
when to shower, either first thing in the morning or later in the evening as
the sun goes down when it’s a little cooler.
The weather
forecast is looking very good, getting hotter each day before the weekend, in Northern Spain yesterday they had severe rain
storms and hail the size of golf balls! It was due to a cold front from Russia hitting a warm front coming up from
Africa – it is just missing us today.
Scruffy is back with us this afternoon and the same again tomorrow - see the picture above.
This afternoon I'am watching the Channel 4 coverage of " Royal Ascot " on the large PC via 'First Row Sports' - spectacular racing on a perfect day.

We are up
early tomorrow for our appointments at the surgery for our check ups and again
on Thursday as we are going across to ‘Leroy Merlin’ before we pick Josie up
from the Bus Station over in Marbella for her summer vacation, Den is
joining her towards the end of the month.
So this
evening for our supper we are having pan-fried ‘Calves Liver’ with English Pork
Sausages, crispy Smoked Bacon and griddled Onion rings, the rest of last nights
Cabbage and Carrots with Parsley New Potatoes.See the picture above with something added?!
On the book
front we are into our reading and are now into ‘Lee Childs’ – I’ve just
finished one and I’ am starting on another today, Brenda is catching up.
Last night
we watched the Germany v Portugal game – the Germans murdered them
4-0 – we then had supper and caught up with all the news, sport and weather
updates before settling down to watch a film – nothing special.
Thoughts
for the Day; See above.
