MONDAY 30th/ SEPTEMBER 2019. “ CANADA WEEK- DAY TWO “
MONDAY EVENING;
We called a taxi and shot down to the ‘
Puerto de la Duquesa Marina’ to meet Sandra & Bill, where we had a nice ‘
Welcome’ drink, sat overlooking the marina, on a ‘ Balmy’ evening.

Dylan & Kritika then came along and
joined us for supper, so we had a nice ‘ catch-up ‘ with them, there will be some more pictures, at a later
date, as ‘ Kritika’ has a top of the range Mobile ( extremely expensive!) – the
picture quality is excellent- you get what you pay for!! It was then time to go
up to the ‘ Kinnaree Thai Restaurante ‘ where the lady owner greeted us and we
had a lovely table sat outside on the terrace overlooking the marina.
I had to start the ‘ Thai Chicken Spring
Rolls’ & the ‘ Dim Sum, Steamed Prawn Dumplings’ For our main courses,
Brenda had ‘ Sizzling Lamb with Ginger, Spring Onions & Garlic in Oyster
sauce’ with Vegetable Chow Mien Noodles’
Sandra the ‘ Crispy Roast Peking Duck with Hoi Sin sauce’ Kritika, who is vegetarian,
had a ‘Noodle dish with Tofu’ – Dylan choose a
savoury ‘Chicken Stir Fry in Fresh Pineapple and Bill also had the ‘Sweet
& Sour Chicken in Fresh Pineapple’ As usual I had the ‘Massamen King Prawn
Curry ***’ with the ‘Three Delights Fried Rice’

The service was a usual excellent and everybody
enjoyed the various dishes, a rather special & memorable ‘ Birthday ‘evening
with Canadian family! “ Thanks Sandra
