A VERY HOT & SUNNY MANILVA ON MONDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEK.

MONDAY 7^th/ OCTOBER 2019.

I was up very early this morning and shot down to the main ‘ Medical Centre’ in Sabinillas to make an appointment with the ‘Practice Nurse’ to update my ‘ Insulin’ prescription, she fitted me later in the morning ‘ RESULT’

When I returned Brenda took ‘ Winnie’ out for her first walk of the day, she slept all night on our bed, she’s real character and full of beans, everybody that meets her, falls in love with her, it’s her little face & eyes, as well as the way she reacts, ‘ Chispa’ had been in & out and for a walk with her, tomorrow morning little ‘ Miss Bella’ is back with us for the day, she will be in her comfort box, as she has to take things easy for the moment, after being ‘ spayed ‘ last week!

I was on the breakfast rota so I made my famous ‘ Toasted Smoked Bacon Butty’ – smothered in ‘ HP’ Brown sauce – open on brown for Brenda, with her favourite sliced Baby Mushrooms, sautéed in the bacon fat with a knob of Butter, some of which made onto my Butty! Mugs of strong ‘PG’ Tips Tea helped get the week on the go.

This evening we are going across to the ‘Costa Del Sol Hospital ‘ for Brenda’s overdue appointment with the ‘ Heart Consultant ‘ – on Wednesday lunchtime we are back at the Hospital for her next review/check up with the ‘Kidney Consultant ‘ On Friday morning I will be back out on my travels, down to Sabinillas for the weekly shopping, for the last time for over two months, at ‘ Mercadona’ ( refurbishment etc)

Today the sun broke through earlier and the sky is bright blue & cloudless, there is a very light breeze, so by lunchtime it’s due to reach 31 degs+ - then it’s all change, back to normal for the time of the year, on Tuesday, as the breeze stiffens, bringing in with it a new front, dropping down to 22/23 degs+ with patchy clouds and the ‘ Wet-Stuff’ with us on Thursday/Saturday, overnight hovering on the 17/18 degs mark, next week is not looking much better, watch this space.

We followed the flight path of the ‘ Air Transat’ TS 107’ on the ‘ Flight Tracker’ – it took off 10 mins early and arrived 20 mins early in Montreal, the ‘ Gang ‘ ( 8) arrived safe & sound, they are spending the night in a large house that Sandra booked ( Airnb) so they can have a good night’s sleep, before they make their separate ways back to Ottawa, Toronto & Everett, Ontario, Canada!

Just a very quick update on the football results from yesterday; Manchester City lost at home to Wolverhampton 0-2 and are now 8 points behind Liverpool! Barcelona won 4-0 v Sevilla and are now only 2 points behind Real Madrid!!

At lunchtime we are going along to ‘ Bar Castillo’ for a nice cool drink and a ‘ Tapas’ lunch, as they have re-opened today after their holiday, also ‘ Cafeteria Nacho’ is open after a month’s holiday!

This afternoon we will catch up with all the ‘ Quiz Shows’ that we follow, before setting off to the Hospital, when we return we will find something ‘light’ to have for our late supper! Watch this space.
