We were both up early this morning and
after a quick freshen up we shot off on our travels, the sun was just breaking
through as we went down through the vine fields, we shot along the coast road
to the ‘ Costa Del Sol Hospital’ for my appointment with the ‘ Prostrate
Consultant’ It was , for the first time, not our regular Consultant, he
confirmed straight away that my readings were down and there was no need for my
third biopsy, he was very thorough and talked about all the various scenarios for
my age, he is arranging for a special micro-X-Ray of my Prostrate and then
another visit to see him in the New Year for a review/check up – “ RESULT “ !!
The sun broke through as we were passing
Marbella and by the time we came back along the coast road the sky was blue,
there was no breeze and the ‘Mediterranean’ was sparking, another perfect day
down on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ – it’s in fact warm in the sunshine and crisp out
of it! The forecast for the next few days and over the Xmas weekend is for more
of the same, even getting a little warmer, back to normal for the time of the
year, next week is now looking dry & settled with a little cloud around,

‘ Scruffy ‘ has just arrived for a few
hours as Rose goes across to the hospital to see Adrian, he’s been moved into
the ‘Cardio/Heart Department’ and this morning all the tubes etc have been
taken off, he’s just rung her to say ‘when
are you coming’?! Fingers crossed now to see if he makes it home for Christmas,

PS; Rose has just collected ' Scruffy' and the good news is that Adrian is coming home tomorrow!
At lunchtime we went out for a celebration drink, we ended up at 'Bar Ocana' - our friend Andy came along so we had a catch up and then Mano's son, Carlos who joined us for a beer, we had a couple of nice ' Tapas' before going home for our snack lunch! On the way back from the Church we called into ' Bar Rojas ' for a night cap before supper!!

When we returned this morning ‘ Chispa’ was
waiting to welcome us back, ‘Scruffy ‘ has been groomed and is the smartest dog
in the village, tomorrow ‘Charlie ‘ is due to be dropped off by Brian & Jan
for his two week Xmas holidays, they are going to Tenerife for the ‘Xmas’ celebrations,
we are looking forward to seeing him, he’s a real character and good company,
he is no problem to look after, eats everything we give him, takes his daily
tablet ( Epilepsy’) and loves his regular walks, without pulling, ‘ Doggy World
Heaven ‘ is open for business!
Thoughts for the Day; See above.
