Lee dropped ‘ Reina’ off first thing this
morning, she then retired to her duvet, we freshened up and had breakfast,
fresh fruit & toast for Brenda and a ‘Smoked Bacon Butty’ for me, tea for
me and hot water with Ginger/Lemon for Brenda! We then put together the
shopping list ( small! ) for tomorrow mornings trip down to Sabinillas.
The sea breeze is keeping it a little cooler
today, it’s still warm & sunny but
pleasant for the time of the year, it’s getting a little hotter over the
weekend and next week it’s more of the same leading up to the ‘ Vendimia Festival’
on the weekend of the 2/4th September!
At lunchtime I have my appointment with our
Doctor down at the surgery for a check up, hopefully she will sort out all my
aches & pains etc and get me back to normal, watch this space. Well she gave me a good 'going over' with my blood pressure checked & heart OK! Iv'e now got to have lots of tests, X-Ray's on Monday in Estepona, then a ' ECG' at the surgery on Wednesday morning and finally the ' full works' of ' Blood' test etc! Watch this space.
Brenda has her new support stockings on, they are a lot easier to pull on, she ‘s also managing to get about a bit more, we are desperate to get ourselves back in shape and get our appetites back, watch this space.
After the surgery I shot down to Sabinillas to go to our bank to arrange some transfers between our various accounts and get some cash, I then stopped at the garage and topped up the petrol but didn't wash the car at it was too busy!

Yesterday we took advantage of the ‘Euro’
coming back up a little and arranged a transfer from our Bank Account over in
Old Colwyn, of some yearly annuities, to our Spanish Bank Account, it arrived
this morning!
Today we keeping things nice & simple, its
the ‘ Chef’s & Staff’ night off but we are staying at home, not going along
to ‘Bar Castillo’ as Brenda needs a bit more time to get back on her feet, we
are still ‘ snacking’ and will try over the weekend to get back to our normal
menu’s, watch this space.
PS; We are going out for our supper!!
