‘ Charlie’
arrived yesterday evening just after we had finished our supper, he settled in
straight away and we went for his regular walk later; he slept on Brian’s
jumper and then on the floor all night, as usual in the morning he lets you
know when he’s ready to got for his first walk of the day by tapping you with
his paw and then jumping on the bed and rolling around! As it happens it was
not too early, in fact it was the same time as the workers arrived on the
development and started knocking! See the pictures below of him waiting for his
breakfast!
After our
breakfast Brenda went and collected ‘Chispa’ and we all went for a long walk
down to the local market by the sports ground for some fresh flowers &
plants. We then came back up through the village across ‘Plaza Pozo Del Rey’ to
the house where we are all now catching our breath and having a cold drink, the
dogs are at my feet on the floor relaxing as I’m up I the office to start
typing the Blog.
No shopping
today, it seam’s strange not to be out on a Friday morning, the only thing that
we are missing is the newspapers. The weather today is still very pleasant with a clear blur sky and the sun out early,
there is a little breeze to keep it just right; over the weekend the wet stuff
that has been hanging around is still threatening to hit us some time then into
next week we are back to normal and getting warmer.
Yesterday
evening over in Liverpool David &Paul had an official ‘Hard Hat’( none in
sight?!) soft opening at their 7th venture for the ‘New Moon Pub
Company’ at “ The Old Bind School” up in Hardman Street after the new kitchens
where ‘fired up’ See the pictures below;
This
evening for our supper I’m making my special ‘Seafood Risotto’ with anything
that I can find, Cod, Mussels, Prawns & Gambas,Crab,Octapus etc. - along
with savory Saffron Rice with vegetables.See below;
Brenda is
having one of her ‘ing’ days around the house as her ‘Assistant Chef duties
today are minimum! After supper we will catch up with all the news sport and
weather details before finding a film to watch.
Thoughts
for the Day; See above.
