WARM AND SUNNY MANILVA ON SATURDAY;

SATURDAY 24^th/ MAY 2014.

The good news is that Brenda has had a better night with only a little coughing, she’s still not right and she has an appointment with our Doctor(?!) on Monday morning when we will press for more action to get her sorted ASAP! The weather is fine and the forecast for over the weekend is good and getting better next week; the painter’s have arrived this morning and the house is starting to look very good with the new colour on the window pillars.

After breakfast I’ am up in the office as you can see typing the Blog on the larger PC,on the smaller PC I’ am watching the ‘BBC TV Breakfast’ programme before catching ‘Saturday Morning Kitchen’ later; meanwhile downstairs my assistant is busy in the kitchen preparing the ingredients for the next batch of our famous ‘Ensaladilla Rusa’ – ‘Russian Salad’ Nothing else to get ready today as we are out tonight for dinner as Gillian’s guest’s – ‘Thai’ food here we come! " Si Siam " is rather special,we had a marvelous authentic Thai meal - thanks to 'Mod' and her business partner 'Best' - All the details tomorrow.

This means that I will miss tonight’s football which is rather important, it’s the final in Lisbon of the “UEFA Champions League” when Real Madrid play Atletico Madrid – I will catch it later as it’s on all the channels and will be analyzed for the next few days, no matter what the outcome- come on the ‘White & Reds’?! In France down in Monaco it’s the most spectacular ‘Grand Prix’ of the season as Lewis Hamilton goes for his fifth win in a row.

PS; Real Madrid won 4-1 but were loosing until the 93rd minute !!
