WEDNESDAY
14th/ MAY 2014.
We started
the day with just a little lie in this morning as there was no noise in our
street; the weather down here on the ‘Costa Del Sol’ which has it’s own
separate micro-climate is changing a little, the rest of Andalucia is very hot
with the temperatures up in the 34/35degs in Cadiz,Sevilla,Granada,Cordoba and
Jaen but down along the coast we are only reaching 24/25degs due to an unusual
sea breeze blowing down the Mediterranean through the ‘Straits of Gibraltar’
and into the Atlantic!!
After our
tea and toast I got the ‘Chicken Curry’ on the go ready for tonight’s supper,
meanwhile Brenda shot up for her shower and I followed later after finishing
the curry and leaving it in her hands to watch and turn it off when it was cooked!
We then went for a good long walk around the streets of sunny Manilva as you
can see in the pictures above; they have finally started work on the main
entrance/exit to the underground car park in ‘Plaza Pozo Del Rey’- As we came
back down ‘Calle San Vicente’ to our house you could smell the curry!
The reading
is going well at the moment, Brenda is into another ‘Lee Child’s’ and I’ am
engrossed in ‘The Murder in Whirligig Lane’ by our local author Mary Chappie;
last night after watching the news, sport and weather round-ups we found a film
to watch - “ The Devil’s Double” from 2011 – is taken from an autobiographical
book by and ‘Iranian’ man who is forced into being ‘Udey Hussien’s,Sadam Hussien’s
mad son as his double, hence the title! It’s mostly fact and shows the history
of the Iranian country under them!!
‘Dominic
Cooper’ plays both the parts!
Thoughts
for the Day; See above.
