SATURDAY 16th/
NOVEMBER 2013.
Over night
we have lost nearly 9degs due to the cold front coming down from the North
Pole! The rest of Spain is effected even more with heavy snow in the North and
all across the mountains, down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ we still have clear
blue skies and at the moment no rain so we can’t really moan as its still
17degs today!
At the
moment as I’ am typing this I’ am watching ‘Saturday Morning Kitchen’ on the
small PC then later I will catch the big one – England v New Zealand (All
Blacks) – Spain playing in Equatorial Guinea and the qualifying for the
American Grand Prix.
Well England lost 22 - All Blacks 30 but took the game to New Zealand and at one time were in the lead ! Meanwhile down in Cardiff Wales beat Argentina 40- 6.
Mano and Anna called in at lunchtime to pick up the papers and have a good chat and gossip,Mano also rang 'Meson Bar La Bodeguiya' in La Linea to check that they are open on Monday lunchtime, they are so it will be our first port of call with Tim!

Brenda is
in her cleaning, washing, bed making mode to get ready for Tim’s visit next
week; the dog came crashing in earlier this morning and Charlie is in full
voice doing his various whisles, clicks, talking and of course a certain dog
barking! This evening after supper we are going over to the airport in Malaga to pick Andy up in his car – we
will miss Charlie when he goes home, we get used to hearing him and talking to
him!
For our
supper this evening we are having a simple ‘Steak a la Plancha’ with grilled
Baby Mushrooms along with finely sliced Green Beans and of course twice cooked
chips, a little Tomato salad on the side and mine topped with a fried Campo
Egg!
Thought for
the Day; See above.
