MONDAY 11TH/
NOVEMBER 2013.
This
morning after our breakfast we went across to Estepona to take the car to the
‘ITV – MOT’centre for its annual test; our appointment was at 11-15am and we
went in at 11-05 and came out 10 minutes later with a ‘Pass’! You stay in the
car and the two examiners take you through shouting the instructions, it’s very
efficient and quick! Result!!
Today its
very hot and sunny with no breeze in sunny Manilva, the forecast for the week
is more of the same and tonight we will get a idea of the weekend’s weather;
fingers crossed for next week as we now have two guests coming – Tim is brining
his friend Wes who of course is also a golf fanatic, he is the Ex- Captain of
‘Old Colwyn Golf Club’ – Tim was out with him yesterday and when he heard that
Tim was coming over he asked if he could join him! So Brenda is getting ready
the second guest bedroom as I’ am typing this, we are looking forward to seeing
them both next Monday – I’ am speaking to Tim over in Old Colwyn later this
morning on the Skype video to confirm all the details - watch this space.
We will be
up on the roof terrace sooner than later today to catch the warm sunshine and read
our books before our ‘Happy Hour’ Andy phoned from England this morning to say
that Maria has found another job this week so she is not going to Seville to
see her family; we were taking her to the bus station tomorrow in San Pedro and
picking her up on Saturday, not now, so it means that we have only to pick Andy
up from the airport over in Malaga later on Saturday evening in his car.
For supper
this evening we are having ‘Pork Schnitzels’ with crisp square chips and
chopped Green Beans with a nice Tomato salad – we have a choice of three
sauces- ‘ Charcutier,Au Poivre or Tomato ! We will then catch up with the news
and weather and then watch the Final of the ‘ ATP World Tour’ tennis from the
’02 Arena’ in London between Nadel and Djokovic. Djokovic powered past Nadel to win 6-3 6-4 !
PS;
‘Charlie’ the African Grey parrot is now doing ‘dog barks’ like Chispa as well
as his full repertoire!
Thought for
the Day’ See above.
