THURSDAY 29th/
AUGUST 2013.
Today we
are having a quiet day at home sorting ourselves out and getting ready for the
big weekend; this morning after our tea and toast Brenda washed her hair and
showered and I followed her later. The forecast of changing weather has not
happened, it’s still a very sunny and hot Manilva!
Not much
more work on the park at lunchtime, they have moved the fence back a bit so as
the wine press is easy to get to and to the side of it they are starting to put
up a Mosaic sign of the word ‘MANILVA’ – the two sandstone plaques are up on
the wall and they are finishing off around them – as you can see in the
pictures above.
At
lunchtime Andy called as promised and he has got me back on-line with the Skype
video but still no luck with registering with ‘Jazztel’ so its back to plan ‘B’
?!
This
afternoon I will be watching the “ Vuelta 2013 ” Stage 6 which is from Guijuelo
to the ancient town and city of Caseres in the region of Extremadura over
175kms.Todays stage was won by the Danish rider Michael Markov and Nibali still retains the RED jersey!
After
supper we will watch the news and then catch the classic film on TVE1.
Thought for
the Day; See above.
