THURSDAY 14th JUNE 2012.
Another hot one in sunny Manilva; we spent the day in the house keeping cool after s short walk in the morning. The first game in the football was Italy v Croatia which ended up a 1-1 draw then it was the turn of Spain v R.of Ireland – Spain won 4-0 and sent the Irish crashing out of the European Championship at the same time; A torrid night in torrential rain as Torres came good and scored two great goals along with Silva and Fabregas scoring the other two ! Later for supper we had Morrison’s Pork Sausages with local smoked Bacon together with Heinz Baked Beans, fried local ‘ Campo ’ Eggs and Chips and of course HP Brown Sauce !

PPS; Friday evening’s later game is England v Sweden – a must win for England !! Watch this space.
