A ' CRISP & FRESH' SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY.

TUESDAY 5th/ NOVEMBER 2019.

I was up early again this morning to welcome back little ‘ Miss Bella’ for the day, she shot upstairs and we then all had a nice, long, lie in, she’s back with us in ‘ Doggy World Heaven’ next Monday/Tuesday as usual, ‘Chispa’ has just called in to see all of us.

After freshening up we had our regular light breakfast of ‘ Weetabix’ with sliced Banana, in cold milk, for me, and brown toast with sliced Banana for Brenda, with mugs of strong/hot ‘ PG’ Tips Tea, to start the day in the right direction!

I then retired upstairs to my office/studio to go on the ‘WWW’ to check the ‘E-Mails, Facebook Messages etc, before reading the online newspapers ( Daily Mail & El Pais - Spanish ) and the main ‘BBC & Al Jazeera ‘ World news pages, as well as the ‘Council’ information page,  finally checking the 2/3 weather forecast that I follow. I write down my ‘ info/crib-points’ for today’s Blog, which I then type up on my ‘ Microsoft Word Page ‘ – before ‘ Saving & Copying’ it onto the ‘Blog Publishing ‘ system, I add/update to the posted ‘Blog’ all the pictures etc from the various online Picture/Download libraries! See today’s finished ‘Blog’!!

Overnight the wind has picked up, this morning it’s now a stiff and cold breeze, the sky is clearing and blue with patchy clouds, by lunchtime it’s only going to reach 18 degs+ - with still the threat of the ‘Wet-Stuff’ in the air, over the next few days and this coming weekend it’s staying the same, hovering in the high ‘ teens’ for now, going a little warmer by Sunday, overnight the temperatures are dropping, down to only 10/11 degs at times ! Next week is looking  the same with lots of  ‘Rain’‘ also. Duvet’ time has arrived!! Watch this space.

Over in Liverpool, pictured on the River Mersey, passing the beach statues on Crosby sands is the “ Atlantic Star “ – on it’s way to Halifax, Canada, it’s a ‘roll-on/roll-off’ container ship designed to carry cars and trucks also, owned by ‘Atlantic Containers Limited ( ACL)’ – it’s the largest ‘ RoRo’ ship ever built, at 81, 000-tonnes and leaves the ‘Seaforth Docks’ on regular Atlantic voyages.

At lunchtime we went for a short walk with 'Bella' along ' Calle Mar' - it was so nice in the sun that we were able to sit outside ' Bar Castillo' for a cool drink!

Later we are going down to our local Surgery, as we have our appointments with the ' Council Chiropodist ' Carmen.

This evening for our supper we are having an ‘English Mixed Grill ‘ – cooked on the very hot griddle-plate, with ‘English Lamb Chops, Pork Sausages  & Smoked Back Bacon ’ from the ‘ English Butchers’ down in the ‘Puerto de la Duquesa Marina’ – along with local Plum Tomatoes & Baby Mushrooms, accompanied with a rich ‘Red Wine Onion & Shallot Salsa’ – served with whole Baby ‘ French’ Green Beans and the rest of the ‘ Boulangere’ Potatoes.

Tomorrow evening it’s going to be our favourite ‘Chicken Schnitzels ‘ with ‘ Spaghetti Milanese’

This afternoon/evening we will be catching up with all the ‘Quiz Shows’ that we follow; ‘ Countdown, Tenable, Tipping Point, The Chase, Pointless, Only Connect & University Challenge’ – then it will be time for the final episode of ‘Dublin Murders’ – later on the ‘ BBC I-Player’ will watch the first episode of the new ‘Rick Stein’ series in France.

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
