A COLD, GREY & OVERCAST SUNNY MANILVA ON THURSDAY.

THURSDAY 14^th/ NOVEMBER 2019.

We had a nice lie in this morning after a few early starts this week, tomorrow morning I’m out on my travels, down to Sabinillas, for our weekly shopping, sadly ‘ItZabar’ is closed for a week’s holiday, I’m also going to call into the ‘English Butchers’ to order our ‘ Xmas Turkey’ etc!

After freshening up we had our regular ‘ Weetabix’ with sliced Banana, in cold milk, for me, Brown toast, for Brenda, with hers, with mugs of hot/strong tea, ‘Chispa’ has been in & out for her 

breakfast!

Overnight the wind has got up as the new cold ‘ Atlantic’ front comes in, bringing with it some wet & windy weather, especially next week, it’s still a little grey & overcast at the moment, the sun is attempting to break through, with the threat of the ‘ Wet-Stuff’ hanging in the air, so by lunchtime it’s only going to reach 16 degs+ - overnight down to just 7 degs! – over the weekend is staying dry and cold, dropping down to 14 degs, next week we are in for a very cold, windy and wet time, at the start of the week, before it settles down again by next weekend, as the breeze drops, hovering all the time in the mid/high ‘ teens’ - with patchy clouds and light to moderate rain mainly, watch this space.

This evening for our supper we are having the rest of the ‘ Beef & Vegetable Stew’ with Cabbage with Acelgas and Parsley New Potatoes, on Friday it’s going to be a ‘ Fish Supper’ – then on Saturday it’s our usual ‘ Steak Night’ – on Sunday we will be ‘ Roasting’ ( Pork of Beef ) ?!  – watch this space.

It’s stay at home time, for now, we are keeping warm, no heating on yet, only one Oil storage heater in the lounge when needed, all the fans have been put away, jumpers are now needed all the time, warm drinks are back, at night we have extra blankets on top of the winter duvet, with just our ‘Love’ to keep us warm!  ‘ Derby & Joan ‘ are Back!!

This evening we will settle down after supper and watch the next exciting episode of ‘ Giri/Haji’ after all the shootings last week, last night it was ‘ Guilt’ as the two brothers got themselves into lots more trouble, as more of the true story unfolded, with some surprises, watch then them both to find out!!
