We had a nice surprise lie in this morning
as ‘Reina’ was not due until 10-00 pm, in fact she didn’t arrive until lunchtime
as the engineers installing the ‘Fibre Optics System’ took a lot longer than
expected! Its happening all through Manilva at the moment over a two year time
scale, one day they will reach us here in sunny Manilva; Daniela is very
impressed as they have now have a very fast and improved ‘IT’ connection for the first time! ‘Chispa’
has been here all morning waiting for her little friend to arrive.
After breakfast I got this evenings supper
on the go, my now famous ‘Chicken Curry’
which we are having with Basmati Rice & Garden Peas; the aromas are wafting
up the street as it matures on the stove! The sun is out and the sky is blue,
there is no breeze and its another glorious day here in the village and down on
the ‘Costa Del Sol’ The forecast is for it to reach 24 degs later with more of
the same to come over the weekend and into next week – fingers crossed for a
dry & crisp Xmas.
We had a very nice surprise phone call during
the morning from our dear friend Joyce, from Chester and North Wales, she
arrived yesterday at her house up in ‘Alhaurin El Grande’ behind Malaga in the
foot hills of the Sierras; she’s here until the middle of January so no doubt
we will join up for a good chat and gossip, she has been very busy back in
Chester as she has moved into a Town House in the centre of the city that need
lots of work and renovations; we sent a welcome ‘ Home’ card to her house here
in Spain as we did not have the address of the new one back in England! It
worked!!
Over the last couple of days we have more ‘Xmas’ cards arrive from
family & friends, keep them coming as we like receiving and sending them! PS;
Don’t forget to send us Post cards as you are out and about in 2016!
My next three programme playlists/scripts
are coming together, I use Spotify, You Tube, Jango, Musicovery, Google and Wikipedia
for my research so by the end of the week I will have my first six shows in the
‘can’ as they say!
Thoughts for the Day ; See above.
