WEDNESDAY 5th/ AUGUST 2015.
We all had a little lie in this morning until the workmen got into their full working mode with as much noise as possible! From the pictures that Den has sent this morning it's looking more like there is going to be a large roof terrace and no roof! - 'Cheeky B-----s' - see below?!
They have just 'bricked' in our roof terrace and confirmed that there is no roof going up - its just a large terrace!! See below;( with my slippers hanging out to dry!)
The two dogs have slept all night and are very well behaved,this morning we took then out for their early morning walk before our breakfast,they are eating well and have settled in, last night as we walked them along Calle Mar we bumped into Adrian & Rose with 'Scruffy' having a Tapas supper at 'Bar Castillo' so they all made friends, it was them that introduced us to Val & Caroline! ie. 'Freddie & Bentley'!!
After breakfast 'Chispa' came calling and is now playing around my feet with her new found friends - then 'Reina' arrived to make it the 'Gang of Four' - they all seem to be getting on with one another - at the moment! 'Freddie & Bentley' are being picked up on Thursday morning.
We are having another relaxing day just doing nothing,because we can! Brenda is pottering at the moment and I'm up in the office on the WWW, catching up with all the news; a read the 'BBC News' first then move on to 'CNN' before 'Al Jezeera' - next its the newspapers with the Daily Mail & Daily Mirror ( sorry Josie) before the local newspaper in the North Wales, the Daily Post - then I check out the E-Mails & Facebook for any messages - its then time to type the Blog and post it after Brenda has 'proof' read it!
At lunchtime we popped along to the chemist's in 'Calle Mar' for some eye drops for Brenda and on the way back we met Mano & Anna in 'Bar Rojas' for a cool drink and a chat and gossip.
For our supper this evening we are having Grilled 'Chicken Wings' with a Mixed Salad & a Baked Potato and my homemade 'BBQ' sauce on the side to dip! We will then try to find a good film to watch after the main news on TVE1.
PS; The " Manilva Feria"- ' Fair' starts this evening down in the 'Rastro Ground" in the valley below the village; its on until Sunday,on Saturday evening there is the 'Feria Queen's 'parade along Calle Mar.
