WEDNESDAY
11th/ DECEMBER 2013.
After out
morning mug of tea Brenda had a nice leisurely shower while I made the Chicken
Curry for tonight’s supper; I then had my shave and shower as I end up smelling
of curry, the aromas also drift up the street -announcing that the only ‘Curry
House’ in Manilva is open for business!
At 12-00 noon I walked Brenda to the bus stop as
she was going down to Sabinillas to the hairdresser’s for her Xmas cut and
touch up! The weather today is a little cooler with a stiff breeze but still no
rain and the sun is breaking through – 16 degs!
Yesterday
afternoon Jan called in, the owner of ‘Charlie’ the Water Dog; we are going to
look after him for two weeks over Xmas and into the New Year, she is very great
full as they did not want him to go into kennels, he is a lovely dog and this
weekend they are going to drop him off so as we can get to know him and take
him for a walk, they are leaving their house keys in case he is missing them as
it’s the first time they have been away;
It’s
definitely an at home day so this afternoon we will settle down for some
reading and TV channel-hopping; I will meet Brenda off the bus and at the same
time take Chispa for her walk as she has just called at the house, she rattles
the front door to let us know that she's out! I heard her up in the office as I
was typing the blog.
Tonight
after our Chicken Curry with Basmati Rice we will watch tonight’s football high
lights as there is no live football on a Wednesday,Barcelona v Celtic is the main game - before finding a film to watch.Barcelona 6 - Celtic 1 with a hat-trick by Neymar!
Thought for
the Day; See above.
