SATURDAY 14
th/ DECEMBER 2013.
We had a
little lie in this morning before we got the day on the go; after our tea and
toast with fresh fruit I shot up to the office to get on-line to watch
‘Saturday Morning Kitchen’ live on the smaller PC, meanwhile downstairs in the
‘Cookhouse’ Brenda was getting things on the go so as I can make my now famous
‘Minestrone Soup’ with at the moment 15 vegetables and pulses along with
Spaghetti and local White Beans and anything else that I can put my hands on
(last nights Peas & Cut Beans!) I use my Tomato salsa as the base and add
all sorts of ingredients as I go along (Vegetable stock, Tomato Frito and mixed
Herbs)
Today is a
football day with the ‘Premier League’ over in England and ‘La Liga’ over here in sunny
Manilva and Spain ! Manchester City v Arsenal is the early kick-off
with Everton v Fulham later then Tottenham v Liverpool tomorrow; over here its Barcelona v Villarreal and Osasuna v Real
Madrid. All the Results later.
Manchester City 6 - Arsenal 3 !! One 'Helluva' game !!
Everton 4 - Fulham 1 !! That will warm Big Bri up over in Pori Finland !!
Real Madrid could only manage a 2-2 BUT Barcelona won 2-1 with Neymar scoring both goals !!!

Tonight’s
‘Saturday Steak Night’ with our ‘Steak a la Plancha’- sautéed baby Mushrooms
& sliced Onions, deep-fried Garlic buds for Brenda, finely sliced Green
Beans and twice-cooked Chips and mine topped with a fried Campo Egg – and I
nearly forgot ‘ Béarnaise’ sauce on the side!
No sign of
Mano and Anna this week, they have not even picked up their papers and Derricks
bed ?! Its now three weeks since Anna was last here, in the meantime she went
to England for two weeks on her jolly but since her return last Sunday there
has been no sign’s of her?!
After
supper we will watch the football highlights before settling down to find a
film to watch. The weather forecast for the weekend and into the start of next
wine is fine with no rain and the sun still coming out to warm us in sunny
Manilva!
Thought for
the Day; See above.
