SUNNY WITH A LITTLE BREEZE MANILVA ON TUESDAY

TUESDAY 3^rd/SEPTEMBER 2013.

This morning after our breakfast Brenda has just gone down on the early bus to Sabinillas to go for her walk and dip, there is a little breeze today and it’s also cooler; at the ‘Plaza de la Vendimia’they are cleaning up after the grape crushing, all the workmen shouted at me to say that it was my fault! The council workmen have also started to take down the lights, bunting and covers all along Calle Mar so the village will be back to normal in a couple of days, yesterday they cleared away all the rubbish and washed the streets down despite it being a local bank holiday?!

After meeting Brenda off the bus when we got back home we made contact with Jack and Lyn on the Skype video over in Melbourne;they are both very well and we caught up with all the family news,they had just come back from a late 'Fathers Day' lunch,over in Australia its on the 1st of September, so yesterday they had been around to Jack's side of the family for a 'Sunday Roast' and today it was Lyn's family so they had been to a seafood restaurant called the 'Lobster Cave' and had the full works ! 

We have sorted ourselves out with the menus for the rest of the week; tonight we are having flattened Turkey Breast pan-fried in Foaming Lemon Butter with savory Basmati Rice and a rich creamy Mushroom sauce, tomorrow it will be Pork Chops and on Thursday we are going to have my famous ‘Burgers a la Manilva’ with everything on them, fresh fish on Friday and back to or regular Saturday ‘Steak Night’ – on Sunday I'am planning to make my special ‘Fish Pie’ topped with Brenda’s famous mashed Potatoes!

Today is a rest day in the ‘Veulta 2013’ and tomorrow it’s the only Time Trial of the tour around the town of Tarazona up in the region of Aragon,80 kilometers from Zaragoza,between Castille Leon,La Rioja and Navarra,at the foot of the Moncayo Nature Park – its over 38kms

Later this evening after supper I will watch upstairs in the office on the smaller PC the latest episode of ‘New Tricks’I had a few problems getting on-line to my 'Film On' web site but managed to catch most of it! Later on TVE1 the classic ' Western' movie was " Unforgiven " from 1992 which starred,was produced and directed by Clint Eastwood with Gene Hackmam , Morgan Freeman and Richard Harris - it won four 'Oscars' for Best Film,Best Directed,Best Supporting actor( Hackman) and Best Film Editing ! Eastwood missed out on the Best Actor to Al Pacino  for 'Scent of a Woman'
