A FRESH AND WARM SUNNY MANILVA ON MONDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEK.

MONDAY 27^th/ JANUARY 2020.

I was early this morning to welcome back little ‘ Miss Bella’ for the day, she’s with us on Tuesday/Wednesday also, she shot upstairs for a little lie in with Brenda, after freshening up as I was on the breakfast rota I had my favourite ‘ Toasted Crispy Smoked Bacon Butty’ – smothered in HP’ Brown sauce – open on brown for Brenda, with mugs of hot/strong Tea, to set us up for the week ahead.

Our friend Andy called in, to help with the translation, and we all walked down to the local ‘Talleres Tony ‘ garage to get the news on the car, it’s back inside the garage, with no battery?!  We have recovered all the documents that were missing, after a road test and checking it all over, they are going ahead with the repairs on the wheel bearings etc, as well as two new tyres, that are now needed, it will then go across to Estepona’ for it’s ‘ITV- MOT’ – which it didn’t have!! “ Fingers Crossed “ Watch this space.

This morning the sun was out first thing and the sky is bright blue and cloudless, with a light breeze, on the sunny side of the street it’s very warm, by lunchtime reaching 17 degs+ still overnight going back down to 7/8 degs, the rest of the week and over the coming weekend it’s basically staying the same, dry & settled and warm and sunny, going a little warmer each day, with a few patchy clouds at times, hovering in the high ‘ teens’ -  back up to 21 degs by Saturday, about normal for the time of the year, next week on the forecasts is looking a little mixed as the next ‘ Atlantic’ front comes in, watch this space.

Just a quick update on the football results from the weekend; Manchester City won 4-0 but Liverpool gave away a 2 goal lead to only draw 2-2 with lowly Shrewsbury Town ( replay)  - over here Barcelona lost 2-0 and Real Madrid won 0-1 and are now 3 points clear at the top of the ‘ La Liga’!

For our supper this evening we are the rest of the ‘Lancashire Hotpot’ – the menu’s for the rest of the week are still TBC, watch this space.

This afternoon/evening we will be catching up with all the ‘ Quiz Shows’ that we follow, then after supper we will watch the next two-part episode of ‘ Silent Witness’ – the second part tomorrow evening. Last night we caught the next new episode of ‘ Vera’ – then tomorrow afternoon we will catch up with ‘ Cold Feet’ as its’ on at the same time as ‘ Silent Witness’!
