A VERY HOT & SUNNY MANILVA ON ' THIRSTY ' THURSDAY.

THURSDAY 23^rd/ MAY 2019.

I was up early again this morning and after a quick freshen up I shot off, across to the ‘ Estepona’ Hospital’ for my final appointment, for now, at the ‘ Physiotherapy Department ‘ with Encarni, the ‘ Head Physio ‘ for the final treatment on my left hand, I found a spot to park at the top of the hill past the Hospital and walked back down to ‘Tikitapi’ for my usual tostado & tea, before going for my final appointment! Watch this space.

We have another glorious day down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ this morning, the sun was out first thing and the sky is bright blue and cloudless, there is a very light breeze, making it very pleasant to be out & about, by lunchtime it will reach 27 degs+ - the rest of the week and over the weekend is going a little cooler, as the breeze pick up, hovering in the mid ‘ teens’ – next week it’s staying the same, going a little warmer, with a few patchy clouds at times, hovering in the mid/high ‘ teens’ – overnight down to 17/18 degs Watch this space.

At lunchtime we went along to ' Bar Castillo' and sat outside, in the shade, for a nice cool drink, Brenda had her first 'Tinto de Verano '  of the year - a glass of chilled Red Wine, poured over Ice & a slice and topped up with ' Fanta Limon'! We also had a small selection of 'Tapas'

Back in the routine, for now, this evening we are having ‘ Posh Chicken n’ Chips’ – ‘Escalope’s of Chicken Breast’ – pan-seared in foaming Lemon Butter with Balsamic Vinegar, served with ‘Diamond-Cut’ Runner Beans and of course ‘ triple-cooked ‘ Chips! On Friday evening it’s going to be ‘ Fish Supper’ – then on Saturday it’s still TBC – as we are waiting to hear from our friends from Brighton, Kevin& Caroline, for our Sunday ‘ Special’ is also TBC, as it’s the local ‘Election Day’ when we have the vote! Watch this space.

We will be catching up with all the ‘ Quiz Shows’ that we follow, this afternoon/evening ‘ Countdown, 15 to 1, Tipping Point, The Chase, Pointless & Eggheads’ – then channel hopping to find something to watch.
