A OVERCAST & CLOUDY SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY;

TUESDAY 18^th / OCTOBER 2016.

I was up early again this morning to see ‘ Reina’ back with us, she shot into her duvet and we then all had a little lie in, ‘Pax’ has slept all night and is very good in the morning, he gets up when we are up, he waits for us to get ready and this morning we had our breakfast before we went for a long walk with him.

We went up through the top of the village past the surgery and along to the top park, we then walked around the sports stadium and ‘ Padel Tennis ‘ courts through the pine trees, the path comes out behind the multi-function Sport Stadium, it was the local ‘Pensioners’ exercise morning, they asked us to join them, we ‘passed’!

We then carried on though the centre of the village past the Primary School to the ‘ Plaza Pozo Del Rey’ – on route we have had ‘sit down’ breaks to get our breath back! Finally we came back up ‘ Calle Iglasia’ to ‘Calle Mar’ and home where we all had a comfort break and a well earned drink, water for all of us!!

This morning, as forecast, its overcast & cloudy with a sea mist hanging over the bottom of the village and down to Sabinillas, overnight it’s still hovering on the 17 degs mark and during the day we are due to reach 22/23 degs when the sun breaks through, tomorrow it’s more of the same and then on Thursday there is the possibility of some of the wet stuff, Friday is looking dry and sunny and over the weekend it’s going to improve a little and get warmer, watch this space.

For our supper this evening we are having ‘ Grilled Beef Burgers’ with all the trimmings, Onions, Smoked Bacon, Tomato & Mushrooms, topped with a Fried Egg ( not Campo !) served on local buns from the bakery, with some fine local Green Beans and twice-cooked homemade ‘ Stringfellows ’ on the side with ‘ Heinz Tomato Ketchup’! Tomorrow I’m going to make a ‘ Calves Liver, Sausage & Smoked Bacon, Onion Casserole’ with Brenda’s famous Mashed Potato, on Thursday its going to be ‘ Grilled Chicken Wings’

Yesterday evening we watched the ‘Quiz Shows’ before after supper settling down to watch the next episode of ‘ Cold Feet’ - next week it’s the final episode in the new series when hopefully all will be resolved, or will it?! One of them could go to prison & go broke at the same time, the one with depression is getting over it, or is he? The new company will be a success, possibly, and the new romance has gone off the rails, or has it?! All will be revealed!! Watch this space.



The route has just been released of the 2017 " Le Tour de France " starting in Dusseldorf next July, over 3561 kms! See below.
