We had a nice long lie in this morning, the
village is very quiet and the streets are deserted, overnight the rain arrived
and its has not stopped, its a lot cooler and overcast, there is no breeze, the
forecast for the start of next week is not looking good at the moment. For
breakfast Brenda produced her famous ‘ Campo’ Poached Eggs on Toast to start
the day off in the right fashion.
See the picture below of ' St.Luke's Church' at the top of Bold Street in Liverpool, it was bombed in the' May Blitz' of 'WW 2' - the light/flower/lantern display was made by local school children in memory of those who lost their lives and those who suffered. Its' the 75 th anniversary this year, The other pictures show the church after it was bombed and how it used to be back at the start of the century.

We then got this evenings ‘Roast’ on the
go; “ Roast Leg of South Island New Zealand Lamb “ studded with Garlic Cloves
& Rosemary, I’ve made a large dish of my famous ‘ Boulangere Potatoes’ to
go in the oven this evening, the ‘ Lamb’ will be finished on top later, Brenda
has got ready ‘ Cauliflower Florets’ in a three Cheese sauce, Cabbage with
local Alselgas, glazed Carrot Batons & Garden Peas, I’ve also got a few Goose
Fat Roast Potatoes, I’ve just made a finger licking Pan Gravy which is ‘cooking
out’ on the stove.
Last night we had a news update from Tim
& Thea, they are currently on a site on the promenade of ‘Torre Del Mar’
which is on the far side of Malaga, they are due here on Thursday for two days
staying on the site just past Sabinillas, they are then carrying on up the
coast to Cadiz on Saturday. We are planning to join them for a ‘BBQ’ on
Thursday ( weather permitting!) and we are then taking them out for lunch on
Friday. It will be nice to see them for a good catch up with all the news of their
‘house hunting’ along the Mediterranean coast and especially down here on the ‘
Costa Del Sol’ - watch this space.
Next week in ‘ Doggy World Heaven ‘ little
Princess ‘ Reina’ ( Miss Junior Estepona! ) is with now with us for four days
from Monday to Thursday, I’m going to do
the shopping on Thursday morning this week, tomorrow I’m working on next weeks
show as the play lists have to be in by Tuesday morning down at the main studio
in ‘Castillo de la Duquesa’ of ‘ Castle
Radio FM 89.2 & Online on the WWW’
Don’t forget to listen in to my show ‘ Sir’
Malcolm’s Saturday Classic Session’ between 11-00am – 1-00pm! My studio
equipment is on order, a small Mixing Deck and a specialist, super sensitive Micro
Phone ( see below!) !) - the ‘ On Air ‘ sign is in the post from China! Then all the systems will
be installed by Andrew & tested, I will then have to master the producing
of the show from here in ‘Studio 4’ in the heart of sunny Manilva!! Watch this
space.
Last night after supper we watched the ‘Michael
Mcintyre Big Show’ on BBC 1 and then over on ITV1 ‘ Britain’s Got Talent’ which
had some good new acts, a mother with her three daughters singing, a lady
singer, a ‘ Star Wars Robotic’ dance troop, two very good ‘ Mimic’s’ and a ‘
Magician’ that everything went wrong for but in the end came right!! We then
caught the late film back on TVE 1.
Thoughts for the Day; See above.
