I was up as normal this morning as ‘Reina’
was due back with us for the day and then ‘ Scruffy’ came along also for the
day. Its nice to see him as he’s such a character and good company as well as
being very well behaved. We then had a nice ‘ Treat’ breakfast of toasted ‘Cumberland
Sausage Butties ‘ with a dash of HP sauce ! After a quick freshen up I shot out
along ‘Calle Mar’ to the Chemists for all our tablets and then on the way back
I went down to our local shop at the bottom of our street for some fresh
vegetables & essentials.
This morning the forecast wet weather has
not appeared, so far, its very pleasant with the sun out early and the clear
blue skies above, by lunchtime its due to reach 21 degs! From tomorrow we are
back to normal with the weather settled for the rest of the ‘ Semana Santa’
week including over the Easter weekend. Good news for all the processions later
in the week including my Brotherhoods, “ Jesus Nazareno “ on Thursday evening. See below a picture taken last night at the ' Pier Head ' in Liverpool of ' Four Lads' out for a walk!
For our supper this evening we are having ‘
Grilled Gammon Steaks’ with Pineapple, Garden Peas & ‘ Frits’ – tomorrow night
its going to be the rest of last weeks ‘ Beef Curry’ out of the deep freeze. Over
the weekend we are planning to have a ‘ Roast’ ( Leg of Lamb ?! ) possibly on Easter Monday as I
will be out and about on Easter Sunday for the two final processions at
lunchtime.
Last night after supper we watched a repeat
episode of ‘ New Tricks’ that we had not seen before on BBC 1, before we had
caught all the various quiz shows. At the moment we are following all the news
reports on Spanish & English TV of the latest terrorist bomb attacks at
Brussels Airport and on the Metro.
Thoughts for the day; See above.
