We were up early this morning and after a
quick cup of tea and a piece of toast I went and collected the car from the
underground car park and we shot down to the surgery for our appointments for a
our check ups and to re-new our prescriptions; we have a new Russian Lady
Doctor who was very nice and spoke some English.
We then shot down to our bank
in Sabinillas for some cash and then stopped and topped up the car with petrol,
when we got back to the house I checked the oil & water. It was then time to
shower and get ourselves ready to go out, we drove across to Puerto Banus and
picked up our friend Joyce after she had parked her car, we then came back
along the coast road past San Pedro de la Alcantara to go to our favourite
restaurant ‘ KoKomo’ – they have changed the spelling on the new entrance
canopy (from C's !)
We sat outside on the balcony, the sun was
out and the sky was blue, we started with a very nice glass of ‘Cava Rosado’ as
we chatted away with lots to catch up with, the last time we saw Joyce was the
same time last year when we had lunch at La Sala, see the pictures below of
last year and then this year outfits!
2015

From the new extended lunch menu, 5/7 Euros
with add on’s at 1 Euro! - Joyce choose the ‘Asparagus & Pea Shoot Risotto’
with a Mixed salad, Brenda had the ‘Teriyaki Salmon’ resting of very fine French
Beans with Baby New Potatoes and a of
course I had the ‘Char-Grilled Rib-Eye Steak’ with Garlic Butter & Frits! Two glass’s of a very
fine ‘Chilean Sauvignon Blanc’ went down very well for the girls! They had a
small Cheese Board with two more glasses of the ‘Rosemount Estate Shiraz’ while
I was salivating on the ‘Sticky Toffee
Pudding’ with Ice Cream! Coffee’s to finish after another excellent lunch with
great company, see the picture above,
We had a
good ‘reminiscence’ about our
early days growing up and then clubbing in Liverpool, on the way back to drop
Joyce off we went and showed her new ‘Boulevard’ in San Pedro de la Alcantara, for another day later in the year
when she returns!
By the time we got back to the house it was
time for our ‘Happy Hour’ Cocktails before we settled down to watch some
English TV for the rest of the evening.
Thoughts for the Day; See above.
